We welcome new faces to our crew! Tag along for orientation and training at the barn.

What an orientation day consists of:

  • meet and greet with the volunteers and staff

  • tour of the barn and horses

  • release forms

  • start learning our routine for regular volunteer shifts

  • horse grooming and care

We appreciate our staff, volunteers, and boarders.

Management at the ACEC barn wants to show our appreciation to those who work alongside us, whether it be our staff, volunteers or our boarders. To show our gratitude we organize “appreciation days” consisting of fun activities at the barn. We love potlucks, picture day with the horses, picnics at sunset, family and friends day, costume parties with horses and much more.

On a personal level, this work is helping me build self-confidence and understand how to set good boundaries with the horse and work as a team, which can be applied to everyday life. The staff are very friendly and always willing to answer questions. I particularly appreciate the attention to detail that Bianca offers with her instruction.
